The two 34-year-olds join an increasingly stacked card, which includes the recently announced lightweight matchup between former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira and surging contender Arman Tsarukyan. White touted the bout as a “No. 1 contender fight” with the winner likely earning a shot at lightweight champion Islam Makhachev at a later date.
Since then Tyson has gone bankrupt in 2003, losing his $400 million fortune, been involved in several drug-related run-ins with the law, and got in trouble for comments he made in the media about Sarah Palin. Despite all this, Tyson has managed to build back his brand and is now worth around an estimated $10 million, mainly thanks to his cannabis company Tyson 2.0. He’s also helped soften the media and public’s perception of him by exposing his flaws in interviews, appearing in movies, such as The Hangover, and revealing more about himself on his podcast, Hot Boxin’.

Mike Tyson is one guy you don’t want to mess with, and back when he was boxing he seemed almost invincible. Recently, Tyson told the world that his invincible days may be coming to an end for him – really soon.
Paul posted a video on his Instagram detailing his new face tattoo—the same one Tyson has (though it’s unclear if Paul’s tattoo is real)—before showing a man with a bite taken out of his ear. Paul then showed himself with a fake ear in his mouth.
Round 10: Wildheart is going to hear the final bell and she deserves to. She gamely tries a few body shots after Mayer snaps her head back with a right. Wildheart is badly bloodied, her nose is a mess, but she’s put in a superb showing on 24 hours notice.
The tattoo on Tyson’s right shoulder of Arthur Ashe, the African-American tennis legend and activist, symbolises more than just athletic greatness. Ashe’s humanitarian efforts, particularly his work with AIDS, inspired Tyson to recognise the impact of public figures both in and out of sports. This tattoo is a tribute to Ashe’s influence and a recognition of the broader social responsibilities that come with fame.
“She was bent over planting flowers in the garden and I walked over here to get in the vehicle where my friend was waiting for me and a car pulled up on the side of us and a guy came out of the passenger seat of that car, came round behind it, and shot through the actual car.” (h/t Ladbible)
But when I look at this situation with legendary Mike Tyson, who will be 58 buy the time the fight happens, one of boxing’s all-time iconic figures, returning to the ring against Paul, I can’t help but think about our once-called sport and its lifeline. Many boxing purists, like me, have seen a shift in boxing as the business side has taken over. We see more and more crossover events, high-profile exhibition matches, and celebrity boxing matches becoming more prevalent nowadays. Modern-day boxing now prioritizes entertainment and financial gains over the traditional values of boxing, such as our amateur system, honed exceptional boxing skills, discipline, and overall professionalism.
